Free trial

You can use every feature of Decluto free for 14 days, without giving any payment details. After the trial the app asks for a licence to keep cleaning.

Licence

• One payment, including VAT, gives you a licence for life: €2.99 for one Mac, or €5.99 for up to three Macs. There is no subscription. You can upgrade from one Mac to three for €3.00.
• The licence is activated for each Mac you use it on, up to the number of Macs you bought. You can deactivate a Mac to use the licence on another one, or move the licence to a new Mac from the app (up to three times a year; email us if you need more).
• A refunded purchase ends the licence; a refunded upgrade puts it back to one Mac.
• It includes all updates to Decluto.
• You may not resell, share or redistribute the licence or the app.

Refunds

If Decluto doesn't work for you, email us within 14 days of your purchase and we'll refund you in full. No questions asked.

How Decluto keeps your Mac safe

Decluto is built so that you stay in control of every change:

• Scanning only reads. Nothing is removed until you've seen the exact list and confirmed it.
• Only items known to be rebuildable, such as caches, are ever selected for you.
• Everything that macOS itself needs, like your keychain, iCloud Drive, Photos, Mail and Messages, is locked and can't be removed in Decluto.
• Items that an app or tool may still need are marked Risky, with the reason, before you decide.
• Almost everything goes to the Trash, and you can put it back from Protection & activity. The few actions that can't be undone are marked Permanent.

Your choices

You decide what to remove. Decluto explains what each item is and what removing it means, but only you know which files matter to you, so please read the labels before confirming. We recommend keeping a regular backup, for example with Time Machine, as you would before any change to your Mac.

If an app or tool stops working as expected after you remove something, putting the item back from the Trash or Protection & activity usually restores it; otherwise reinstalling the app does.

Warranty and liability

Decluto is provided "as is". We work hard to make it reliable, but we can't guarantee that it is free of errors or suits every setup.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss of data, for an app, tool or macOS not working as expected after you chose to remove an item, or for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of Decluto. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for your licence.

Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer, or our liability where the law doesn't allow it to be limited, such as for intent or gross negligence.

Changes

We may update these terms when Decluto changes. The version on this page applies, and we won't take away the licence you bought.
